Last week, the AACS Board started the year with a visit to Heathdale Christian College - a school that started in 1982 with 38 students in portable buildings and has grown to two campuses educating over 2,300 students in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
During devotions from Acts 1, we were reminded that even after the death and resurrection of Jesus, the disciples still did not fully understand His purpose. What they had yet to grasp was the coming of the Holy Spirit and the transformation that would follow.
As followers of Jesus, we don’t always understand what God is doing or where the path ahead will lead. Yet we are called to trust Him and be attentive to the leading of His Spirit, confident that God is at work and that His plans are more amazing than we could ever imagine!
Please pray for our Board (pictured above) as they seek to wisely govern the association in service of Christian schools across Australia.
We are grateful for their humble, wise and servant-hearted leadership.
