Constitution and Management of AACS

AACS is a registered body incorporated in the ACT. It is governed by a Constitution registered under the ACT Associations Incorporation Act 1953. Under the Constitution AACS is managed by a Council which meets at least twice a year.

The Annual General Meeting of the Association is usually held in the first half of each school year. AACS publishes an Annual Report which includes a Statutory Report from the Chairman and Executive Officer together with a Balance Sheet and the Auditor's Report. The Annual Report also includes a list of all member schools.

The AACS Executive is responsible for the oversight of policy implementation and the administrative arrangements for the Association.

The Executive Officer conducts the day-to-day business of the Association from a National Office based in Springwood, NSW.
